Daycab Semi Truck
A semi truck or a tractor unit is an actual truck, which contains the engine. In this case a semi truck can run on its own without a trailer. A truck has steering and drive axles and fifth wheel hitch. The fifth wheel is a round plate above the drive tires that hooks together the trailer and the truck. The truck has one single drive axle or two axles called as tandem. Drive axles typically has two tires from each side, these are common known as double tires, dual tires or dualies.
