Box Truck

A box truck is a truck with attached box cargo area. That type of truck is also called as cube truck, cube van or box van. The box shaped cargo provides the safety and dry area for goods inside.

They usually have rear door that rolls up like a garage door. Some of them have side door to quick access. The box can be equipped with refrigerator and insulated walls for delivering the perishable goods. On some cube trucks you can find a hydraulic cantilever tail lift or liftgate on the back of a truck. The liftgate is used for lifting a heavy freight from the street to the level of the truck floor. The box truck and vans use the cab and chassis of full size vans or trucks.

Box/cube trucks are usually used by companies that need to haul flowers, food, appliances or furniture. All moving companies also use these trucks in their business.
