1979 Chevrolet C30 Ramp Truck 350 Manual Flatbed 79 Chevy

1979 Chevy C30 dually ramptruck with a big flat bed 11 feet and then a 3 foot dove tail with fold down ramps, the whole bed is 7.5 feet wide. Also have stake pocket sides for hauling gravel and dirt, etc. great farm truck that’s a perfect restoration candidate or use as is. I bought it a little over a year ago from the original owner. He had the bed built when the truck was new for hauling cars, materials, tractors and equipment for his trenching and landscaping business. I wanted to restore it as a restomod car hauler but haven’t found the time so it has unfortunately not seen much use recently. The patina on the hood, roof and bumper is beautiful! Anyway, the details: it’s got a blazer 350 Motor, I believe an 84 quadrajet with the 4 speed on the floor standard transmission also known as the 3 speed plus low granny gear, and 4:10 rear end 14 bolt, runs and shifts great. Runs and drives fine although it could certainly use some maintenance. The front tires are new but the rears are soon due for replacement. The brakes are soft but they work, could at least use bled. The taillights need rewired, they work on and off. The wood on the bed is pretty old and could use some repairs or replace all the wood with new lumber or metal. The steel bed frame is still super strong though. There are a few rust holes in the truck frame on the right side near the rear axle, see last pic, I was going to weld the bed frame to it to reinforce everything but didn’t get the time. The body is really solid, the rockers/cab corners/floors have all been replaced and the doors and fenders are solid. The flat portion of the bed is 11 feet and the dovetail is 3 feet so 14’ total. Bed width is about 7.5 feet. Clean title, notarized and ready for sale. Eligible for historic tags so you don’t have to pay registration every year!
