1948 Chevy 1 Ton Flatbed Truck

This is a working truck. Has a 1960 235 6 cylinder engine. New clutch.Installed a 1967 style 3/4 ton Master Cylinder, all new brake lines. New front brake shoes.. front and rear drums turned.. 4 speed manual transmission (with granny gear) . Has a 4.57 rear end replacing the 5.14. Will do hwy speeds on the flat. Has hitch. Converted to twelve volt, with alternator.. Rebuilt Heater core, installed side tool box... Has a new radiator, water pump, alternator, battery, and starts right up. If you want a strong truck to do local or personal hauling, Big Red is the answer! Removable racks. Door windows need re-set. Replaced glass in doors, but driver door glass cracked. I use it every year to haul several loads of firewood, have hauled gravel, pavers, it will handle a good sized load. I’m getting too old to be hauling wood.
