1998 GMC Service Truck

IF you are reading this ad the truck is still available.1998 GMC G-3500 Savanna with a Utilimaster body. Ex Verizon Cable Truck. Equipped with a Kohler 9 KW Single Phase generator that runs off the gas tank. It also has an on board air compressor system that has heated air along with tool air. It has an air conditioner mounted on the top for the back. There is florescent lights in the back and electrical outlets at the back and the passenger side behind the passenger door on the body. The air conditioner ran great but hasnt been run for over a year so may need to be service. This truck was originally a Verizon Cable Truck. The miles are original. A Jasper transmission was installed about 3 years ago and the engine was replaced with a Jasper engine about a year and a half ago. I used it as a service truck but I am out of business so I need to sell it. It runs good. The paint has deteriorated from the hood and it does have very minor rust on the utility body However it does have some issues that need to be taken care of. 1. The drivers side rear spring shackle has broken and needs replaced. I have the shackle but I never got it replaced. When the shackle broke, the end of the spring went up and crushed the wiring harness that feeds the rear lights as well as power for the generator. The wiring will have to be repaired for the generator to run and operate the air compressor. The battery cable has to be disconnected until the harness is repaired or the battery goes dead. 2. The cab body is in fair condition. The left front fender should be replaced. A deer hit the fender. 3. The drivers door linkage needs to be reconnected for the door to latch. The pictures that are posted show the truck and my equipment that is in it. THE EQUIPMENT DOES NOT GO WITH THE TRUCK! The truck will be emptied when it is sold. This truck cost over $90k when it was purchased. The generator and compressor ran great until the shackle broke & crushed the wiring harness. It needs some work but will make you a great service truck. There is an overhead alcove in the back as well as a shelf and a cabinet. It also has a work table. There is a vice mounted in the back but it needs replaced. The truck can be driven but is not road worthy in the condition it is in. The truck is parked in a storage lot in New Market, Maryland.
