GMC Step Van for Sale

For sale is a 1990 GMC/ GRUMMAN Step Van. I am selling this van as parts or scrap because it doesn’t have a clear title. I purchased this van from a farmer in Pennsylvania and he signed the title over to me and provided me with a completed PA bill of sale. It had a 60 day temporary plate and when I went over to the DMV to transfer the registration I was told I needed the previous owner to fill out and sign a CT bill of sale form and mail the original back to me. Long story short I never ended up following up with the previous owner and ended up using the truck for storage on our property for the past 2 years. We would start the truck up every few months and it ran great until a few months ago it wouldn’t start. The batteries at this point are definitely shot, not sure if there is anything else wrong with it.. The fuel gauge didn’t work from the time I bought it so we would always just top it off with diesel. ETG didn’t work so a auxiliary temperature gauge was installed. This is a very heavy truck, GVWR is 24,280. It has both front and back air brakes. I’ve heard mixed things about whether or not it requires a CDL because of the airbrakes so if you plan on driving this on public roads make sure to do your research in advance. Mileage is approximately 167,000. Automatic transmission. This sale is AS-IS / WHERE IS. I bought this truck for $4000 in 2015 and have only put about 1000 miles on it since then. I’m listing it at $900 just to get it out of here, I’m sure I could get much more for it if I had time to track down the old owner, get the registration and title transferred to my name, replace the batteries etc but I just don’t have the time. First person that is able to show up and take the truck gets it. You should plan on towing it out unless you want to try to get it running here and have a temporary plate.
