I was going to put a couple of bench seats with roll cage and seat belts in the back for the kids. I found something more suitable for my family of 6 for trail riding, and so I am selling this beautiful Chevy P-up. It’s got a strong engine, 4x4 transfer case works, 700r4 automatic transmission, AC and heater work, nice 22 inch wheels, clean body, no rust or dents, nice paint job still, modified to 3/4 ton, locking front hubs, rear bed liner. What needs work: the engine leaks, the transmission leaks, the rear-passenger-side wheel hub seal leaks ($10 easy do it yourself fix, just buy a new seal and replace). Inside upholstery, doors and dash in pretty good shape, but could use some love depending on your intentions for the truck. You can find rebuilt 700r4 transmissions online for under a grand, and even rebuilt chevy 350’s for under a grand, and swap them out over a weekend to make this truck run like new for another 200,000 miles. I personally would go this route instead of trying to fix the leaks. You can basically have a brand new running, bad ass lifted Chevy truck for a couple grand more. I used it exclusively for some light offroading so I didn’t care about the leaks. For me, I fix leaks in off road vehicles when I break the component, then just replace it. This truck already starts every time, runs strong, and is a head turner! It just has some leaks and have no time to work on it. I actually need to move it to create space for a 67 Camaro project. I don’t need help selling, I’m not hurting for cash, and I’m open to reasonable cash only offers.
