1982 vw caddy rabbit diesel pickup truck

I bought this truck from a dishonest seller in Stockton and the head gasket blew on the way home. I had my diesel mechanic machine the heads and put the engine back together, and replace the shift linkage. He says the engine is tops now, but he would replace the fuel lines and a few other things. I had dreams of hyper miling at 55 mpg, but I’m over it now and want a new truck. I’ve got over $4000 in so this is a steal for the right person. Just paid registration. Odometer is frozen at 113k, so I’m not sure how many miles are on it. Included are pics of the original CL ad, but I think the guy is telling a bit of a made up story. Comes with camper shell, snow flakes wheels, a set of steelies with good snow tires, the official vw repair manual, and my highly recommended diesel mechanic Luis’ number - He’s an expert in small displacement light trucks like this. update: I brought out the truck for a no-show off craigslist and the radio was stolen while I was waiting for him. Tough luck, so price drop to $2200.
