Cash only, face to face. No paypal, no cryptocurrency, no money order. 302 V8 (they call it a 5.0 liter now), rebuilt by a previous owner. Recently new C5 automatic transmission. Brakes recently serviced (power brakes, discs in front, drums in rear.) Power steering. No A/C, as it came from the factory. New aluminum radiator, new water pump, 2 new street-friendly tires, 2 decent off road tires. Mallory ignition, recently replaced. Aluminum intake manifold and a ton of hot-rod stuff done to the motor (before I got it, so I don’t know the details. Roller rockers? Other stuff?) Dual exhaust with moderately loud mufflers. It was built to run, not win car show awards. I got it with 33k on the odometer but there is no 100’s place, so was that 133? I don’t know, neither did the previous owner. I recently rolled it over another 100k. But just about everything has been replaced on this truck at one point or another. Runs like a top. It was my daily driver for a while, and was frequently taken down dirt roads that even 4WD jeeps wouldn’t brave and never let me down (thanks, posi-traction!) The body has some dents, some major scratches. Originally yellow, now a matte brown that is chipping in several places. It has a couple inches of lift so it can handle bigger tires than it has now. The diamond plate details, rails, toolbox, and rubber bedliner come with the truck. Seat has rips under the fake Mexican blanket cover but is still comfortable. Stereo is a cheap JVC with CD player, mini input. I have documentation on most of the stuff I’ve done to it over the years. The only reason I’m selling it is because I got a 4x4 truck with A/C. I’ll miss this one but I won’t drive it enough to justify keeping it. Issues: 1. It takes some getting used to 1970s power steering, but once you do it’s easy to drive. Or maybe it needs some adjustment and I’ve just gotten used to it. But I can parallel park it with no problems. 2. It has a very slow coolant leak, probably from a gasket at the front of the motor. I didn’t realize this when I had the water pump die or I would’ve taken care of at the same time. You could live with it forever, if you check the fluid every few weeks. It’s a very slow leak. Or pop a bunch of bolts off and replace some gaskets. It’s probably a cheap fix but I don’t have the time. 3. It had a breather cap on the valve cover, so it huffed oil on the motor all the time. I’ve driven it like this for 10 years and just check the oil periodically, but I got tired of it and got a cap with a catch tube and a catch can. I haven’t installed that catch can. The passenger valve cover has a Chevy PCV valve (could probably use replacing, it’s old.) 4. If you care about dents, scratches and rust, this ain’t the truck for you to begin with. But If I was going to keep it, I’d probably have the bed blasted and Rhino-lined. There is no rust-through that I’ve found, but there is surface rust in the bed and a few spots elsewhere. Fortunately, you can build this truck from the frame up with entirely new parts if you wanted to. You could affordably maintain this thing until they bury you in it, then someone could dig it up 10 years later and drive off with your corpse in the passenger seat.
