1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Pickup Truck Extended Cab (good for mechanic)

This truck starts and runs. I drive it a couple times a week. It has an issue with the transmission. I believe it’s the torque converter. I’m not highly mechanical but if it’s simple enough I’ll try it. I know very little about transmissions. Everything I’ve read leads to the torque converter. It starts to shudder at certain speeds. If you drop it into 2nd gear it stops. It’s usually around 40 - 45 mph. It’s dirty, the body has rust here and there. The paint job is worn. The tires are good. Brand new battery. The motor is perfect. If you have the means & ability to put a converter in this you would have a good, reliable work truck. *Please Note* Also, I have 4 giant wheels and rims that fit this truck.
