Another possibility though is if you have a large property, where the truck will be used but not leave the property such as a farm, you may not even need to get a title. You can be sure though by speaking with the DMV / Vehicle Titling that the title is available through the abandoned vehicle process as well as speaking with the Auto Dealer that had the truck and the owner of the business that used the truck for 17 years. The Auto Dealer was renting a space on our property when he purchased the truck. He closed shortly thereafter and left the truck behind for us to use, we have used the truck for 17 years but now we are moving and no longer need the boom truck. Recently the truck has had some of the interior electrical wires stolen by thieves but THE TRUCK DOES RUN however it will need some work. This truck could be a real asset to a company that is in need of this type of equipment. It does need some work but the cost of any repairs with the purchase of the truck would be significantly less than the cost of a new truck.
