2007 Tacoma base regular cab pickup 4cyl 2.7L 5 speed manual, rwd 4x2, 296,529 miles. This has been a great truck. Purchased in 2013 in Dallas, TX area. Was a work/fleet truck for a pest control company. Clean Texas title. Unfortunately I lost the paper I kept track of all maintenance and repairs on since I’ve owned it, but can piece together most of it with receipts: Valve cover gasket was replaced in May 2014. New clutch kit and slave cylinder was installed as a preventative measure in August 2015. Bearing was not replaced, still have new one. Pre and post catalytic converter oxygen sensors were also replaced in August 2015. Catalytic converter was also replaced but do not have exact date. One tire was replaced in October 2015. Then another tire replaced in January 2016. The other two tires replaced in March 2016. Alternator was replaced in December 2016. Battery and brakes were probably done at some point but don’t know when. Engine mount came loose a year or so back and was repaired. Issues I’m aware of: Truck burns and/or leaks oil. I’ve been told that seals need to be replaced. Does make a rattling noise occasionally when starting up which I’m told is the timing chain. Mechanic suggested engine replacement. Steering gear boots are torn. Left shock boot is also torn. Driver’s side of bench seat is thoroughly worn and sunk in. Tears in seat on driver’s side. Passenger side reverse light does not work; tail light assembly collects water. Headlights need restoration or replacement. Rear view mirror mounting bracket and mirror are separated and I’m not sure how to put together. The bracket may be something I pulled off another Toyota at a junkyard, not sure. Both are included. I modified the stereo by hardwiring an auxiliary input onto the line in for the CD player. It worked great for a while, but either the solder joint where I attached it or the jack itself (a few bucks at Radioshack) has gone bad, so now neither the aux input nor CD player work.. TPMS light is on, don’t think sensors are synchronized. Driver’s side floor mat is worn through. Truck has had a few fender benders: I tapped into someone’s trailer at a stoplight after stopping because I couldn’t see it (low and short). Also tapped someone in I-25 traffic. Damage was not substantial, just cracked parts of bumper and broke headlight and bumper clips. Someone did a hit and run on it in February, 2014 while parked. Damage along driver’s side fender and door. I bent it back out somewhat and replaced the driver side mirror but it’s not pretty. Impact misaligned driver’s side window rails and crank handle does not work; I’ve been using locking pliers to open and close, but it’s not smooth and only goes so far. Plastic crank handle is included. Truck was damaged in the recent hail storm: cracked windshield and blew out passenger side camper glass window. Camper shell top got beat pretty bad. Windshield was replaced May 2017. I removed the damaged camper window frame, but didn’t replace the glass; included if wanted. Owners manual and some miscellaneous parts are included.
