1981 Toyota SR5 Longbed Pickup I know I am going to regret this, but have too many vehicles. Clean Ga. title in hand. 426508 miles. I am the second owner, and have put the last 300k+ miles on her in the past 24 years I have had her. 8 foot bed - great Home Depot hauler. - Motor (22R) rebuilt 50k mi. ago. Transmission (5 speed) rebuilt 70k mi. ago - Weber 32/36 carb. Jetted properly. 24MPG - Pacesetter header to 2" exhaust - New driveshaft bearing - driveshaft balanced - Working factory AC - just serviced with Freeze 12 - New carpet - New windshield and gasket - truck does not leak at all - New driver door window regulator - New tires (15 miles on them) - Recaro knockoff seats - Grant GT steering wheel - Pioneer AM/FM cassette head unit. Kenwood 6x9 speakers in boxes behind the seats. - All running lights converted over to LED - New shocks (Monroe) 4000 miles ago - New brakes (calipers, rotors, wheel cyliners, pads shoes, rubber lines) 4000 miles ago. - New tie rod ends, center link, idler arm, ball joints (upper and lower) 4000 miles ago - and alignment Extra parts that come with sale; - New taillights - New Toyota factory fuel pump - RV cam kit (.425 lift, 268deg duration 110deg lobe separation) complete with new heavy duty springs and new rocker tree - Complete top end gasket kit - Beck Arnley clutch kit ($500 extra if I have to install it) - Original carburetor + linkage, air cleaner assy, emissions lines. - New AC receiver/dryer - AC and PS idler pulley bearings - Spare voltage regulator Front main seal leaks a tiny bit. Rear end (3.9 ratio) has a bit of a whine over 75mph. Smokes a little upon startup when below 40 degrees. Needs some body work, but very straight truck. No rust in floorpans at all. Frame is solid. Get in this truck and drive to California and back today. It’s that reliable. These old trucks are as rare as hen’s teeth and rarely come up for sale. $3500 ($4000 with new clutch installed). I do not need help selling it, nor am I hard pressed to sell, so price is firm.
