Up for sale is a 2002 Ford E-350 Econoline one ton utility unicell box van. It could also be called a cut away van too. It is a very unique truck that will be an exceptional value for someone. As you will see below the truck actually has two extremely secure temperature controlled compartments inside. The box is made by Unicell Aerocell and is a leak-proof single piece fiberglass body without any seems. It has the bulletproof Trion 5.4 liter V8 engine matched with an automatic overdrive transmission. This engine is superior to the diesel which was offered this year. The truck only has 143,000 miles on it has a great features like a stereo system, ice cold air conditioning and dual 12v interior charging ports. It also has rear control switches on the dashboard for easy use along with extra wide mirrors on both driver and passenger side. The truck was purchased brand new from Latham Ford in New York and was owned by the state its whole life. I am the second owner and this truck and know it was meticulously maintained. The state used PHH Arval (now Element Fleet Management) to keep up on all of the truck’s needs. The truck also passed its last emissions test while it was owned by the state. The pictures show the exact condition of the tires and this truck has dually rear tires for higher payload capacity. The rear rolling door is solid, good spring, rust free cables and works great. It is made by Whiting quality door, manufactured in Akron New York. It even has an audible alarm on it that will alert the driver is it is open one inch. The door also has an interior deadbolt for increased security. The rear is divided into two separate compartments. The one behind the driver’s seat measures about 80 inches long x 90 inches wide x 78 inches high. The rear compartment next to the back roller door measures about 86 inches long x 90 inches wide x 78 inches high. The interior dimensions of the shelves are 26 inches wide by 70 inches long. Again this is the inside area of the shelf. The floor is a solid piece of aluminum diamond plate throughout the box. The interior doors are solid, heavy and the middle compartment would make a great place to secure tools and valuables. What makes this truck very interesting is the fact that the box has its own separate electrical air conditioning and heating system. The unit was made in Canada (not China) by Mobile Climate Control (MCC.) The heating system will put out 40,000 btu an hour while on the cooling side will produce 27,300 btu an hour (cfms) with a 17 amp draw. It will drain the excess water (condensate) underneath the truck just like the regular air conditioning. The box has its own lighting and ceiling fans much like an RV would have. The truck has signs of use, wear, and some cosmetic issues with its age. The fiberglass body has a crack on the lower passenger side. Both the driver and passenger door rockers have bad rust underneath them. The driver’s bottom cushion also has bad wear around the corner closer to the steering wheel. I think the truck is in great shape, it runs on the highway without any problems, has a great drivetrain, and the box is really unique. The interior box doors are solid, heavy, and could not just be kicked in. The shelves are solid and made by a professional tradesmen. Ford trucks with this motor are known for their dependability, reliability, and long life. I know whoever buys this will feel the same way about it I do. Thank you for looking. More information about the Aerocell utility body "Designed with 3D CAD software, the Aerocell continues and enhances the lines of the Ford cutaway van, creating a sleek look that allows smooth, quiet air flow. The result is substantial fuel savings... up to 20% better than conventional truck bodies have been reported by customers. That can mean thousands of dollars saved over the life of your truck. Our drivers argue over who gets to drive the Aerocells. The Aerocell units are quieter and hold the road better. We also like what the Aerocells will do for our image and our bottom line. Our tests show we save 28% on fuel compared to a conventional body on the same chassis." keywords: Box Truck Trailer enclosed Van Tradesmen Catering food transport Electrician plumber pipefitter carpenter U-Haul Ryder budget haul
