1993 Ford E350 14’ Box Truck...Low Miles...No Rust

I have owned this truck since 2004 and have driven it round trip to New Orleans four times, Nova Scotia and other places. It is a GREAT running truck. I also have the overhead area set up as a sleeper compartment, with bed, 800 watt power inverter, TV w/DVD player, fan, heater, lighting and refrigerator. It is great for saving on hotel costs when driving long distances or for two people splitting the driving/sleeping shifts to drive straight thru. The truck has been well maintained. ONLY 114,800 ORIGINAL MILES!!!!!! I also had extra leaf springs put in after getting it, so can handle heavier loads. All new heavy duty shocks a year or so ago. New distributor last year. All tires have good tred with no dry rot. All wheels have chrome wheel covers and look sharp!! AM/FM radio with CD player and removeable anti-theft faceplate. Custom $250 faux Alligator Seat Covers look killer !! This is a Southern truck!! I bought it in New Orleans around eight months before Hurricane Katrina. So, unlike many Northern trucks, the frame is completely solid and not all rotted out from winter snow and salt. Rear 14’ box has a few long shelves and some wall hooks for storage. Sliding door for access between cab and box. Truck was just inspected a couple weeks ago and has current NY State Inspection. I am selling it cheap because it has a minor issue with the transmission. It is an automatic E4OD transmission with overdrive. If I hand shift it from 1 to 2 to D, it runs flawlessly. If I put it into D for the truck to pull away from a dead stop, it seems to be starting in second gear, not first. I took it to a local transmission shop last week, who I trust. They had it for a day and pulled codes and took off the tranny pan to examine it closely and diagnose it. They told me they are pretty sure the problem is electronic and either a corroded solenoid pack connector plug or a bad solenoid pack. You can buy a new solenoid pack for under $100 on EBAY. A new plug in under $50. I just haven’t had the time to do it......so I am selling the truck for less, for someone handy to buy and fix themself.....or just drive it as-is and hand-shift it.
