fuel: gastitle status: cleantransmission: manual1989 Ford F150. I bought this pickup from my wife’s Uncle. The original owner sold it to the Uncle’s son, a vocal music teacher, and the son sold it to the dad, my wife’s Uncle, a retired preacher. It has been in Manhattan Kansas its entire life. My wife’s Uncle only used this pick twice year to take their dog to the vet. The rest of the time it sat on the west side of their house. The changed oil in it but other than that didnt do much to it, just drove it twice a year. The body as you can see is in rough shape. The fact that it would just sit outside all year was helped by the fact that these pickups during this time period were known to have paint issues. This pickup only has 110,000 miles on it, I know your thinking noway but when you drive this thing you will understand. The engine, starts rough like it needs a tune up, but once its running it is tight, no knocks, pings great oil pressure, the clutch is strong, and the transmission shifts smooth. It has a 302 V-8 with a 5 speed manual transmission. Power windows and power locks The interior, except for one stain on the dash is in awesome shape as you can see from the pictures. The tilt steering does have a bit of play in it. ***** I always get asked if the air conditioning works, my wife’s Uncle said it needed freon but I have never messed with it. Positives: Low miles for model year, excellent interior, this truck would last someone a long time if they took care of it. It has a rebuilt starter on it, new air filter, crankcase filter, oil filter and fresh oil. What it needs: Tires, they have pretty good tread but are dry rotten, needs an exhaust manifold and exhaust. When the exhaust hangers rusted off they didnt fix them and this caused the exhaust manifold to crack. The drivers side needs a window motor put in it for the power window to work. Needs a radio. Was exposed to salt being from northern Kansas so yes it has some rust. Probably could use some shocks. I am asking $1250 or obo, very negotiable! I would be interested in a PARTIAL trade for a 3/4 or 1 TON pickup bed trailer. No half-tons. Or I might be interested in trading for an old tractor, hit and miss engine, or old signs. Anyway pickup can be seen and driven, 5eight0, in Alva, four3zero, Oklahoma. Nine4zero5.
