97 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab 4x4 Work / Plow Truck.

Great plow truck! Plowed our driveway for 5 or 6 years. Was grandfathers truck. Drove it down to virginia i few trips and with a heavy trailer full of garage items, when he had moved down there. Was always a good runner. I Took off road 2 years ago. Had just done a new gas line, shocks, pads, rotors, calipers, and tie rod ends. I Replaced driveshaft, coolant reservoir, and put in new battery last year. Cost for that alone was $1600. It is a 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Ext. Cab 4x4. 169,000 5.7L Extra set of leaf springs on it. Not sure if it is just tow package or Heavy Duty suspension. FEATURES Contractors cap, ladder / roof rack. Runs quiet with no exhaust leaks. Engine is strong with no skips or ticks. Push button 4x4. Works perfect. Changes gears easily. Drives smooth. Has no slips or stutters from transmission. Blows hot air. Defrosts. Brakes work. Stops. Plows in great condition and works well. 2 lights are on. ABS light and emergency brake light. Came on one day when i was plowing. Could be something to do with emergency line or maybe a sensor. haven’t investigated. Stops fine. Must pry hood open by hand the hood latch releases hood but doesn’t pop it open. Has 3rd door on passenger side, but Does not open. RUST has shut it, likely forever. Lots of rust on truck. Needs a battery charge. Has New Battery. Just sits for long periods and battery dies. Comes with an extra 2 tires. 1 on rim and ready to be put on truck, other would need to be mounted to a rim. Back 2 tires keep going flat... Both Hold air but slow leak. New rams on plow 2 years ago. Sanded, primed and painted blade and frame. some surface rust pushing through paint on blade again, but in nice shape. Mounts and frame look great. Plow is a Fisher minute mount. Fully contained housing, inside of engine compartment. Pushes lots of snow. Scrapes driveway clean. Lowers, raises, angles. Works. Makes a nice running, home plow truck. Could be good daily driver if someone put in an Extra couple bucks for brake lights.
