It has a stock 360 V8, a C6 automatic transmission and Dana 60 rear axle. Everything is original except for the flat bed (originally a long bed), paint and steering wheel. The white paint is still the original paint. Underneath the red is the original sea blue paint. I also have the original saddle mount 18 gallon auxiliary tank and is included with the truck. There is a 19 gallon in-cab fuel tank behind the seat as well. I’ve done a lot of recent tune-up work to this truck. I have replaced the fuel line, fuel pump, coil, points, condenser and spark plugs. I rebuilt the carburetor and replaced the Y-pipe, muffler and tail pipe with a slightly larger one to help it breath better. It has a glass pack muffler for a beefier sound. I put a set of 32-inch BFG All Terrrain D rated tires on it to give it more of an off-road look. Inside the cab I replaced the original steering wheel with an aftermarket Grant steering wheel and cleaned up a lot of wiring connections so all of the original gauges work. This truck is in very good condition for its age. The VIN numbers match on every location of the truck where the VIN was stamped by the factory so it’s got matching VINs. It has disc brakes in front with drums in back with lots of life left in the them. It also has power steering and power brakes. Its a different kind of rat rod that turns a lot of heads. I prefer the old worn rusty vintage look so I didn’t do a thing to the body. There are visible scratches, dents and dings. The roof has some rust/corrosion showing around the gutters but it isn’t bad and could easily be repaired. This truck rolled off the assembly line in August of 1969 at the Ford factory in San Jose, CA and as far as I know has been in California its whole life. There are no other signs of serious corrosion anywhere else on the truck except the roof. The floor boards are still solid as well as the fender wells. The bed is made of vintage wood with metal strips for trim but this truck has been used for work so it’s got a few stains on the wood but overall in good condition still. A unique farmhouse style of work truck. I love it but I have to let it go. I have the clean title in hand. This is a pre-smog era vehicle so there is no smog check required and there never will be. However there are some registration fees back owed but I am willing to deduct some or all of those fees depending on what I am able to sell the truck for. This is a one of a kind and in very good condition for its age. You won’t be disappointed. Asking $4000 but no reasonable offer will be refused.
