1953 GMC 5 Window Cab Fire Truck Engine Squad Car BARN FRESH from NY!

I’m always looking and sometimes I’m buying. That’s how I found this gem and dragged it home from the finger lakes area of upstate New York. Macedon (pronounced MASS eh din) is a small hamlet in the upstate New York region. This has been in a barn for a minimum of 30 years possibly more. It is the very popular five window cab. The engine will turn freely by hand. It is very unique and I have never seen another one like it. Would make a great parade a truck as there is room in the back for a lot of people. The odometer registered 30 some odd thousand miles. I’m certain it is original miles. I do not have a title for this item. It has a six cylinder Engine with a four-speed transmission on the floor. Everything will need to be redone to get it roadworthy, tires, brakes, clutch, etc. but a few weekends and a couple of good buddies who are interested in this vintage type of vehicle it could be up and running. I will consider interesting trades, but this was purchased as a barn find and being sold as such. I have numerous projects but would be willing to trade for something that is unique, but would need to be at least running and moving under its own power.
