1985 Chevrolet 3500 custom made dump truck

I thought I’d never sell this truck, but it’s just not used anymore. Ive had this truck for quite awhile. I used it to haul logs and firewood a number of years. Its extremely handy. It can safely haul about 4 tons of rock...i have the quarry slips to prove it. This truck was built to be just what it is...a 1 ton dump truck. Its built on a 1976 Cab and Chassis frame, which means its a longer frame than a pickup making it perfect for a dump bed since the frame hasnt been cut and welded. It had a 1985, i believe, cab put on it. Its titled off the cab. This has power windows, locks, a/c (needs new freon lineset to work i was told..never used it), etc. Aftermarket tac and temp guage. It has a 350 sbc engine that runs great. Never given me issues. New fuel filter and rebuilt distributer. Manual L-1-2-3-4 & R transmission. Top speed of about 55-60. TWIN CYLINDER 8’ x 14’ Knapheide bed. The bed will lift more than the truck will support...very strong cylinders and in good shape overall. Removable wooden sides and tailgate could use a little work. Chelsea pto runs off transmission. Seperate manual engage lever and knob for bed control. Works great. Tires are decent and has extra rear simulator set as well. You wont find a nicer assembled truck of this age. Runs great, ready to work. Clear title, miles unknown. Price is "or FAIR best offer", no im not going to negotiate because you didnt come see it and im a nice guy. I might trade but it would have to be something like a skidsteer, big metal lathe and cash, etc.
