My dad bought this truck new for residential construction clean up on his jobs. Sold to his plumber friend in late 90’s, when he passed I bought it back from his widow. Its basically been a garbage truck for the last 20 years parked at my house for me to throw my construction debris in and when its full go dump it. I think the rear leaf springs have sagged due to sitting around with some weight in it. Good truck, easy to drive and dump. Electric over hydraulic PTO. Transmission was rebuilt less than 10k miles ago( 3 speed automatic). 7.4L(454) Throttle body injected. Manual locks and windows. AM/FM stereo, no tape, cd or aux port. Has #10,000 hitch and wired for trailer breaks. Tires are good. Passenger side of box has a drop down side for easier access, driver side has some spots to hold 6 shovels and brooms. Comes with heavy duty tarp and bungees. Box measures 11.5x7.5x3.5 for 11 yards. Has small dents at passenger door and back corner of cab above passenger door. Currently has expired tags. Passed DEQ paperwork in hand. Has a couple quirks, but its a good work truck, hey its 27 years old. Drivers seat worn. Has a slight exhaust manifold leak at front passenger side. Left turn signal works but doesn’t automatically turn off. Wipers work but, on intermittent sometimes it just goes to low and when turning off sometimes they just go for a minute until they feel like shutting off. At one point it lost the headlights, running lights and radio. It was part of the fuse panel, we patched in a new hot wire to make everything work(10 years with no problems). Some of the paint is coming off. These years had that problem from the factory. It was repainted in late 90’s. Had a minor fender bender and for some reason the auto body shop put a Chevy grill on it. The floor of the dump box has some surface rust but, its thick steel and solid. The thinner material on the sides has a few rust holes where it meets the bed. I think I’ve explained everything so there is no surprises when you look at it.
